Modifying the access log using dsconfig interactive mode
The File-Based Access Log can be modified to include or exclude all log messages of a given type using the dsconfig
tool in interactive or non-interactive mode.

Steps

Use
dsconfig
in interactive mode to modify the access log properties.Example:
$ bin/dsconfig

Follow the prompts to specify the LDAP connection parameters for host name or IP address, connection type (LDAP, SSL, or StartTLS), port number, bind DN and password.

On the PingDirectory server main menu, type the number corresponding to the Log Publisher.

On the Log Publisher Management menu, enter the option to view and edit an existing log publisher.

On the Log Publisher menu, type the number corresponding to File-based Access Logger.

On the File-Based Access Log Publisher menu, enter the number corresponding to the property that you want to change, and then follow the prompts.

Type
f
to apply the changes.
