Registering PingFederate as an agent in the RSA Security Console
To process sign-on requests, PingFederate requires access to the RSA Authentication API. You can grant access in the RSA Security Console.

Steps

Sign on to the RSA Security Console.

Go to Access > Authentication Agents > Add new.

In the Authentication Agent Basics section, in the Hostname field, enter a unique name of your choosing, such as
MyPingFederate
. Click Save. -
If your RSA Authentication Manager uses a self-signed certificate, add it as a trusted certificate authority (CA) in PingFederate.

Export the certificate by following the steps in How to export RSA SecurID Access Authentication Manager Root Certificate in the RSA Authentication Manager documentation.

In the PingFederate administrative console, on the Security > Trusted CAs screen, import the certificate. Click Save.
